 The first aircraft in the Twin City fleet is a Cessna 172. This aircraft is reliable, versatile, well-maintained and fully FAA compliant.

The Cessna 172 aircraft has become the most-produced aircraft in history with over 44,000 built and flown since 1955. Cessna credits the success of the Cessna 172 to its reliable performance and user-friendly handling, making it the ideal aircraft for flight training and personal ownership. Indeed, the United States Air Force and Army utilize a version of the Cessna 172 as a trainer aircraft for their pilot programs.  The Cessna 172 is utilized throughout the United States and abroad for a host of recreational and professional purposes. For example, the United States Border Patrol uses a fleet of Cessna 172s for aerial surveillance along the US-Mexico border. 

As a testament to the Cessna 172 and a fun trivia fact, Robert Timm and John Cook set the world record for refueled flight endurance in a used Cessna 172 going 64 days, 22 hours, 19 minutes and 5 seconds in a flight covering an estimated 150,000 miles – over six times further than flying around the world at the equator. How’s that for durability and reliability!
