Co-Founder and Owner

Tyler is a co-founder and owner of Twin City Aviation and has been flying for over two years ultimately completing his private pilot, commercial and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certifications. He trained in flight schools in the Triad and coastal North Carolina gaining exposure to a wide variety of flight training philosophies. Tyler attended Liberty University, obtaining a BA in Graphic Design in 2022. 

At the age of 18, Tyler became a United States Coast Guard licensed maritime Captain and ran an inshore charter fishing business throughout his college career. Although he will always have a love of inshore and offshore fishing, Tyler pivoted to join his younger brother in flying after graduation from Liberty with the vision of establishing a flight school in the Triad area. 

Tyler is a native of Davie County, North Carolina where he resides with his family. He is engaged to be married to Haedyn Hill of Asheboro, North Carolina in September 2026.
