Co-Founder and Owner

Tanner is a co-founder and owner of Twin City Aviation and has over four years of flight experience. Tanner’s flight training was initiated through the Liberty University School of Aeronautics where he received a BS in Aviation in 2024. This pilot program provided Tanner with his private pilot, instrument and commercial certifications while at the same time exposing him to a wide variety of aviation safety courses and knowledge beyond the aircraft. 

With a dream and vision of starting a flight school, Tanner continued his flight training after college ultimately completing his CFI, CFII, AGI and IGI certifications positioning himself to be an elite air and ground instructor. The majority of Tanner’s flight training occurred in the Triad giving him special knowledge of the area’s airspace and flight training standards.

Tanner played college football for a year before transferring to Liberty University to pursue his career in aviation. He is a native of Davie County, North Carolina where he resides with his family.
