Pilot Programs

Sport Pilot License

Being a sport pilot offers the thrill of flight with fewer requirements than a traditional private pilot license. It allows you to fly light-sport aircraft during daylight hours in good weather, typically within your local area. Sport pilots enjoy the freedom of the skies without the complexity and cost of more advanced aviation training. It's an ideal path for recreational flyers who want to experience aviation in a simpler, more accessible way while still embracing the responsibility and skill that piloting demands

Zero to Sport Pilot

  • At least 17 years of age
  • Minimum of 15 Hours of Dual Flight Instruction
  • Minimum of 5 Hours of Solo Flight
  • Minimum of 20 Hours of Total Flight Time
  • Proficient in Aeronautical Knowledge Areas
  • FAA Student Pilot Certificate
  • Medical Certificate from an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) or Valid Driver's License
  • Written and Practical Exam

Private Pilot Certificate

No matter your path, the Private Pilot Certificate is the first step toward flying an airplane. A Private Pilot Certificate allows you to fly in Visual Flight Rules (VFR) along with friends, family, or co-workers for no compensation or hire. You have the freedom to make a quick getaway with the family or get to a business meeting and avoid the airlines. Come learn to be a Private Pilot for the sake of fun flying or make that first step toward flying that big airliner.

Instrument Rating

The Instrument Rating is the next step toward a career pilot or to develop into a more advanced and broadly experienced Private Pilot. It is an extra layer of skills that allows you to fly in the clouds or less than VFR minimums. We all know that weather can change with a blink of an eye, and this rating allows you to still go flying, whether the clouds are low or a thick fog has settled in the area. Come learn to fly solely off the instruments and gauges in Instrument Flight Rules (IFR).

Commercial License

Unlike a Private Pilot, the Commercial License allows you to work for compensation or hire as a pilot flying for airlines, charters, cargo companies, pipelines, and much more. You gain the next level of knowledge of aviation and the skill to be the master of the controls. Come fly to be one step closer to your career pilot goal.

Certified Flight Instructor CFI

As a Certified Flight Instructor, you get to share the knowledge of aviation and teach students that are eager to learn to fly. A CFI can teach Private Pilots and Commercial Pilots on the ground and in the air. The advantage of becoming a CFI is to build the hours required by an airline or other carrier flight service and to earn income as you go. It is one step closer to becoming a professional pilot!
